It finally feels like life is settling down again.

I’m settled into my new place, feeling better than I have in quite some time, and getting ready to start creating content much more regularly. Having a little more breathing room has reminded me how much I enjoy sharing pieces of my life with all of you.

And speaking of big changes…

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT: I QUIT MY SALON JOB.

sometimes growth looks like....
sometimes growth looks like....

After a lot of thought, I decided it was time.

There were several reasons, but ultimately it came down to two things: financially, the arrangement no longer made sense for me, and philosophically, the owner and I simply weren’t aligned. Constant schedule changes, ever-changing policies, and a dress code that somehow changed three times in a single month were making it difficult for me to focus on the things that truly matter to me-traveling, growing my business, and pursuing my education.

Which brings me to my next exciting update…

If all goes according to plan, I’ll officially be starting school this fall. There are still a few final steps to complete, but I’m incredibly excited about the possibility of returning to school and investing in my future.

And since I no longer have to build my life around a salon schedule…

That means I’ll be heading to a city near you.

So tell me, where do you want to see me next?

The first stop will be the Bay Area in July. If you’d like to see me while I’m there, now is the time to reach out. I’m finalizing details and locations, so if there’s a neighborhood you’d love to see me visit, let me know. Current plans are targeting the first week of July.

Other cities currently on my radar include:

• Chicago• Boston• New Orleans• Portland• Seattle

And honestly? Some of the smaller cities and towns are calling my name too. You never know where I might decide to pack up my heels and head next.

I’m also especially excited for an extended visit with one of my absolute favorite lovers. Planning these days and nights together is something I truly enjoy, and having that time to look forward to has made this season even sweeter. I have a big surprise planned, and from what I hear, there may be a few surprises waiting for me as well. I honestly cannot wait!

On a more personal note, the pets are doing great.

This month was a little emotional because June 11th was their mommy’s birthday. I had a good cry that day.

Happy birthday sweet angel!
Happy birthday sweet angel!

Oddly enough, it was also the day I quit my job.

I’m not religious, and I don’t pretend to know what happens after we’re gone. But I find comfort in believing she’s still watching over us somehow. It felt like she was there that day, giving me the strength to take a leap I had been putting off for far too long.

More than anything, moments like that remind me how fragile and precious life really is.

We don’t know how much time we have.

So take the trip.

Cross something off your bucket list.

Give the extra-tight hug.

Stay up too late having an unforgettable conversation.

Allow yourself a little adventure.

And maybe… turn that lingering eye contact in the grocery store into an awkward conversation.

Maybe it ends right there in the checkout line.

Maybe it turns into a story you’ll tell for years.

You’ll never know unless you make a move.

Here’s to new beginnings, new cities, new adventures, and making the absolute most of the life we’ve been given.

I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes us.

Aaaand next time you see this tiger it will be framed in beautiful flowers....stay tuned for my new art!

Can you guess what the tattoo will be?

Get in touch to get touched!
