Hello my loves,
It’s been far too long since I’ve written, and first I need to apologize. Life has had its way with me these past few months… between catching covid in June and my chronic pain flaring beyond control, I had to cancel my East Coast tour. I know many of you were looking forward to it, and I’m so sorry I couldn’t make it happen. Your patience and understanding mean the world to me.
My body continues to be its own mystery. In October I’ll be getting another spinal injection. This time in a different area of my spine to hopefully bring some relief and help pinpoint where the fusion surgery should be. The last injection didn’t give me any relief at all (which, in hindsight, may have saved me from a surgery performed in the wrong area). Still, the pain has been so unmanageable that some days it feels impossible to feel motivated… but I’m holding onto hope, and I know brighter days are coming.
The truth is… the time I spend with my lovers is my very best medicine. Whether it’s reconnecting with my beloved familiar clients or curating dreamy new encounters, being able to escape reality together is what keeps me going through the hardest days. Those moments of intimacy, pleasure, and connection soothe me in ways nothing else can.
I’m endlessly grateful for the thoughtful gifts of massage. They’ve been absolutely essential for my body. And beyond that, I love offering my own healing touch. Beyond my pleasures, I’m still working toward my next chapter. School is on the horizon, though I’m torn between studying in person or online with my ADHD, my anxieties, and my passions tugging in every direction. If you have any advice, I’d love to hear it. I was also just offered a part-time lead stylist position at a new salon. While it’s not my greatest passion anymore, I’m open to seeing what doors it may open. And in exciting news, I’ve just stepped into a new role as a support group facilitator for sex workers. I had my very first group this week, and it was such a powerful, heart-opening experience. Wish me luck as I grow in this role.
