Finding life as an Erotic Barber: Tours, challenges, and ways to connect.

taniaofseattle6

Hello, beautiful souls.

I’ve been reflecting a lot lately—about my journey, my work, and the moments that truly bring meaning to life. Living in Los Angeles this past year has been an experience full of highs and lows. The fires here were a profound tragedy, leaving so many with loss and heartache. Stepping up to volunteer during that time was one of the most rewarding things I’ve done, giving me a deep sense of connection and purpose. It reminded me that even in the face of hardship, we can find ways to come together and help one another.

Now, as I prepare to take my next steps—literally and figuratively—I’m excited to share news about my upcoming tours, my health journey, and how we can connect in meaningful ways.

Upcoming Tours: Let’s Connect!

If we haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet, or if you’re ready for another unforgettable experience, keep an eye out for my upcoming stops. I’ll be in Portland, Oregon March 1-4, and then Seattle, WA March 4-11. I will have some days that overlap on this tour with my beautiful friend Sophia Robey. You can find her on my friends page on my site. We will have some time together if you would like to book both of us. Whether you’re looking for a fresh cut, a memorable evening, or both, I’m here to provide an experience you won’t forget.

Honestly, there’s something magical about touring. Meeting new people, hearing their stories, and sharing my craft—it’s one of the things that makes me feel most alive. If you’ve been curious about booking with me, now’s the perfect time.

I am planning an East Coast tour as well sometime in the spring, and can be convinced to settle on a date to pack up my barbershop sooner with your pre-booking or requests.

The Not-So-Glamorous Side: My Health Journey

Now, let’s get real for a moment. Life has been anything but smooth sailing. I’ve been dealing with some medical issues that have tested my patience, strength, and sense of humor (because, let’s face it, sometimes all you can do is laugh). These challenges have reminded me to prioritize what truly matters—my health, my passion, and the incredible connections I get to make through my work.

In 2018, I underwent emergency spinal surgery to prevent paralysis. It was one of the scariest moments of my life, but I’m so grateful to say I came out of it still able to walk. For that, I’ll always be thankful.

However, the journey didn’t end there. While the surgery saved my mobility, I’ve been living with chronic pain ever since. Now, I need a second surgery to address this pain and improve my quality of life. The tricky part? Recovery could take up to six months, and as someone who runs their own business, that’s a daunting amount of time to step away from work.

Your support—whether it’s booking a service, spreading the word, or just following along—helps me get one step closer to this much-needed surgery. I truly can’t thank you enough for being a part of my journey.

Ways to Support Me

If you’ve been wondering how you can help during this time, there are a few meaningful ways to support my journey:

1. Book a Service: Whether it’s a haircut, an evening of companionship, or both, your bookings help me stay afloat while pursuing my goals and preparing for surgery. I have virtual options available as well.

2. Wishlist Love: I’ve put together a wishlist with

items I need for my upcoming travels, including new suitcases. If you’d like to contribute in this way, I’d be incredibly grateful!

3. Cash Gifts: I’m always accepting cash gifts, which go directly toward covering my medical expenses, travel needs, and future surgery plans. Your thoughtfulness and generosity mean the world to me and help more than I can say.

Thank you for being part of my journey, for your kindness, and for helping me move forward one step at a time.

And please stay connected. Follow my adventures, engage with my posts, and let’s keep the conversation going.

Finding What Makes You Feel Alive

Through all the ups and downs, one thing has become crystal clear to me: life is too short to settle for anything that doesn’t set your soul on fire. For me, it’s the art of what I do—bringing people joy, connection, and a little extra confidence.

So, I want to ask you: What makes you feel alive? Maybe it’s something you’ve been putting off or a dream you’ve kept on the back burner. Whatever it is, let this be your sign to go after it.

Let’s Make It Happen

Whether you’re ready for a haircut, an unforgettable evening, or just want to follow along on this journey, I’d love to connect with you. Let’s create something meaningful together—because life is too short to wait.

Thank you for being here, for reading, and for sharing this journey with me. Here’s to finding what makes us all come alive.

With love and gratitude,

Tania Tonsorial
